Birthdays at our house are usually celebrated all week long. At least that's what the boys think. We had a b-day party for Ayden as a family, he had a party with friends, then a party with grandma Suz, Rich and Aunt Mindy.
Ayden had a Pirate Party with his friends. We had a Pirate Cake, Pirate Grub, Treasure Hunt, Pirate Games, and Pirate Stories.
After the party we were all exhausted. Here is where Ayden decided to take a nap (notice his thumb ready to suck, silkies in hand). Grandpa Rich slept on that chair he's sitting in.

I think week long celebrations are the way to go! I cannot believe that Ayden is 4 already. What an adorable cake!
